FT. LEE, N.J. (November 04, 2011) – Savara Pharmaceuticals (http://www.savarapharma.com), an inhalation drug development company targeting niche therapeutic areas, has joined SAFE-BioPharma Association. SAFE-BioPharma manages the SAFE-BioPharma® digital identity and signature standard, used throughout the biopharmaceutical industry to verify and manage digital identities involved in electronic transactions and to apply digital signatures to electronic documents.

Savara, which focuses on improving existing small molecule medicines through advanced formulation and delivery technologies across a number of therapeutic areas including asthma, cystic fibrosis and lung cancer, is incorporating the SAFE-BioPharma standard to improve its overall operating efficiencies.
